The Grand Dame.

The Grand Dame of Foxes is not one for ostentation. Rather than fine gold and velvet upon her form, she instead shows visitors her quiet garden of peonies, zinnias, petunias, and the occasional snapdragon. If she’s feeling especially magnanimous she may bring out a few of the family heirlooms. These simple pieces of hand-wrought metal jewelry may seem unassuming, but rumor has it they may hold the secret to why her garden blooms year-round…

Real red fox ears are mounted on black deerskin leather, with secondhand vintage metal decorations along the front edge. These are in turn sewn securely to straw bases, with combs that hold the fascinators in the wearer’s hair.
