Coyote Skull Necklace

I had a coyote skull where the front half was missing, and most of the remainder in front of the parietal bone was badly damaged. It’s a really unusual piece; I don’t generally like to cut up skulls for no reason, and this was all I could really salvage. So I removed the damaged bits, and lined it with white deerskin. The skull is painted in acrylics, white and earthtones. The decorative tassels and necklace cord is made from white and red-brown artificial sinew, and brown waxed cord.
