Ball Python Pendant.

September 2012
Price: $30 – available for purchase on Etsy

I made the pendant for this necklace by hand; it’s a slice of cherry wood with chocolate deerskin leather and a piece of preserved ball python skin from a snake that died naturally. I added a bit of copper acrylic paint for an accent as well. The pendant is on a hand-braided adjustable necklace made of waxed linen cord and artificial sinew, with copper beads, secondhand wood “Buddha beads”, and two hard to get real California redwood beads flanking it (these are NOT the unsustainably harvested “redwood” beads from Asia, but beads that I hand-selected on a trip to California).
